These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MapQuiz mobile application and related services (collectively, "MapQuiz", "the Service", "we", "us", or "our").
By creating an account, accessing, or using MapQuiz, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use MapQuiz.
You may use MapQuiz only if you are legally permitted to do so under the laws applicable to you.
If you are under the age required to independently agree to these Terms in your jurisdiction, you may use MapQuiz only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of MapQuiz complies with the laws and regulations applicable to you.
Certain MapQuiz features require an account.
You may create or access an account using supported authentication methods, which may include Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity that occurs through your account.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating or maintaining your account and not to impersonate another person or entity.
You may not create or use accounts for fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized purposes.
MapQuiz provides geography-related games, quizzes, challenges, multiplayer modes, statistics, leaderboards, collections, and other game features.
Game rules, scoring systems, rewards, available game modes, maps, challenges, and other gameplay features may change from time to time.
We may add, modify, suspend, or remove game features when necessary to operate, improve, or maintain MapQuiz.
You agree to use MapQuiz fairly and not attempt to obtain an unfair advantage over other players.

We may investigate suspected cheating, abuse, fraud, or exploitation and may take appropriate action, including removing rewards, resetting scores, suspending accounts, or terminating access to MapQuiz.
MapQuiz may allow you to select a username or other publicly visible profile information.

We may change or remove usernames or other user-generated content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or is otherwise inappropriate for the Service.
MapQuiz may provide multiplayer games, matchmaking, leaderboards, rankings, and competitive features.
Rankings and statistics may be calculated using game results and other information determined by MapQuiz.
We may adjust, reset, remove, or recalculate scores, rankings, statistics, or rewards when necessary to correct errors, address cheating, prevent abuse, or maintain fair competition.
Availability of multiplayer and competitive features may vary depending on server availability, network conditions, game mode, or other technical factors.
MapQuiz may provide virtual currencies, including Gold and Cash, as well as virtual items, maps, collections, rewards, chests, or other digital content.
Virtual currencies and virtual items are digital game content and are not real currency, do not represent monetary value outside MapQuiz, and cannot be exchanged for cash or other real-world value unless we expressly state otherwise.
Virtual currency and virtual items may be earned through gameplay, rewards, events, purchases, or other methods made available through MapQuiz.
We may change the availability, pricing, amount, value, functionality, or use of virtual currencies and virtual items at any time, subject to applicable law.
Virtual currencies and virtual items are generally non-transferable between users and may not be sold, exchanged, or transferred outside MapQuiz unless expressly authorized by us.
MapQuiz may offer optional purchases of digital content, subscriptions, features, virtual currency, virtual items, or other products.
Purchases may be processed through Apple App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat, or other supported payment providers depending on the platform and purchase configuration.
When you make a purchase through Apple App Store or Google Play, the purchase is also subject to the applicable store's terms, payment rules, and policies.
You are responsible for reviewing the purchase information and applicable terms before completing a transaction.
MapQuiz does not directly receive or store your complete payment card information when payment is processed by Apple or Google.
Except where required by applicable law or otherwise stated by the applicable store, purchases of digital content are generally final and non-refundable.
Refund requests for purchases processed through Apple App Store or Google Play may need to be submitted through the applicable platform according to its refund procedures.
MapQuiz may offer subscription-based or non-consumable features, including options that remove advertisements or provide additional benefits.
Subscription terms, billing periods, renewal conditions, pricing, and cancellation options will be presented through the applicable purchase platform.
If a subscription automatically renews, you must cancel it through the applicable platform before the renewal date if you do not want it to renew.
Deleting the MapQuiz application or MapQuiz account does not necessarily cancel an active subscription managed by Apple or Google.
MapQuiz may display advertisements through third-party advertising providers.
The availability and type of advertisements may vary depending on your location, device, settings, and other factors.
Some MapQuiz features or purchases may remove advertisements as described at the time of purchase.
MapQuiz and its software, design, branding, logos, graphics, game systems, text, audiovisual content, maps, and other materials are owned by or licensed to MapQuiz and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Except as expressly permitted by applicable law or by us in writing, you may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from MapQuiz or its content.
The MapQuiz name, logo, and related branding may not be used without our prior written permission.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use MapQuiz for its intended purposes.
This license does not give you ownership of MapQuiz, its software, virtual currencies, virtual items, or other intellectual property.
In addition to the restrictions described elsewhere in these Terms, you must not:

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to MapQuiz if we reasonably believe that you:

MapQuiz may temporarily become unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical problems, network failures, third-party services, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Features may also be changed, suspended, or discontinued at any time.
MapQuiz may integrate with or rely on third-party services, including authentication providers, app stores, advertising providers, payment services, analytics or messaging services, and other service providers.
Your use of third-party services may be subject to the terms and policies of those third parties.
We are not responsible for the availability, content, policies, or practices of third-party services that are outside our control.
Your use of MapQuiz is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MapQuiz is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
We do not guarantee that MapQuiz will meet all of your expectations, operate without interruption, or be free from errors or defects.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of every piece of geographical, statistical, or other information presented within the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MapQuiz and its operators, owners, affiliates, service providers, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service.
This may include, to the extent permitted by applicable law, loss of data, loss of virtual items, loss of progress, interruption of service, or other losses resulting from your use of MapQuiz.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, liabilities, and expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, misuse of MapQuiz, or infringement of another person's rights.
We may update, modify, or discontinue parts of MapQuiz from time to time.
This may include changes to game modes, maps, collections, rewards, virtual currencies, pricing, leaderboards, multiplayer features, or other functionality.
We may make these changes to improve the Service, address technical or security issues, comply with applicable requirements, or for other legitimate business reasons.
We may update these Terms from time to time.
When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the beginning of these Terms and may provide additional notice where appropriate or required by applicable law.
Your continued use of MapQuiz after the updated Terms become effective means that you accept the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
These Terms will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable to MapQuiz and its operator, except to the extent that mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive you of rights or protections that cannot legally be waived under the laws applicable to you.
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by applicable law.
These Terms, together with the MapQuiz Privacy Policy and any additional terms presented for specific features or purchases, constitute the agreement governing your use of MapQuiz, except where additional or different terms are expressly provided.
